Any friends of mine that know me well enough know that I grew up in the Berea area in SC. It's a very populated Hispanic community that still has some growing to do, but will always have a special place in my heart as it being home and where I had the best moments of my childhood. That being said, we didn't have a lot of money to just get out of town or go "shopping" because we're bored or things of that nature. So what did we do? We went to Furman University and fed the ducks. HAHAHA! Now a days you can't feed them, according to the signs posted, but it's still a beautiful place where my parents and I shared a lot of picnics, first bike rides, first roller blade experience and first of MANY, MANY talks with the God. I went there to pray and to cry and I grew a lot in those times alone.
Fast forward to my life now, I enjoy taking my girls there as often as I can in hopes that they love that area as much as I do. I have done 2 sessions here and another 1 with my girls. I know alll the best photo op places and the times of when it's the busiest and what time the sun will shine just right lightening the clock tower beautifully so I'm truly at my element here.
I got the wonderful opportunity to capture the Marlow family again and they had a new little one that they showed off. We had a wonderful time, as we always do, and I can't wait to see them again in the future to capture more precious moments.
